Ocean Conservancy’s research shows that nearly 80 percent of plastic waste in the ocean begin as trash on the ground, the vast majority traveling to the sea by rivers. An alliance of global companies in the value chain of plastics and consumer goods launched in January a new organization to promote solutions to eliminate plastic waste in the environment, especially in the ocean. In this session experts in the industry and management will discuss the solutions that are being worked from all areas.
